Device Status Information

All ISR devices that run at least firmware version 3.0, as well as all MPX and ISR2 devices, report a subset of their status using the four LEDs on the device. For the meaning of the LEDs, please see the table below.

Power
If LED is lit (on):
The device receives power from the power adapter.
If LED is unlit (off):
The device is not plugged in or is not powered.
Check the power adapter, its cable, connection, and the mains outlet.
If the problem persists, contact Customer Care.
Network
If LED is lit (on):
The device is either physically connected to or associated with a network.
If LED is unlit (off):
The device is not physically connected to nor associated with a network.
Please check your network, connection, cable or - if using wireless - your WLAN settings.
If the problem persists, contact Customer Care.
Internet
If LED is lit (on):
The device has successfully connected to the management service.
If LED is unlit (off):
The device was unable to connect to the management service.
Please check your Internet connection and/or the network settings.
If necessary, please contact your Internet service provider.
Status
If LED is lit (on):
The device is playing content as configured.
If LED is unlit (off):
The device is not configured to play any content in this moment.
If the LED blinks slowly (once every 2 seconds):
The device is playing content from fallback source.
If the LED blinks fast (twice every second):
The device is in limited mode.
If the LED blinks very fast (about 10 times every second):
The device encountered an error and, although it is configured to play content in this moment, it may not been able to.
